Adventure to La Crosse, WI

My human powered (Wyatt bike) playground adventure took me to a my old elementary school playground in La Crosse Wisconsin, worn out by hundreds of kids over the years. New four square boxes have been framed, but not painted in with bright cheerful colors, I hope adding color is in their plans. The school has recently built more classrooms and a parking lot over much of the blacktop area. Many of the old lines are gone or cut in half by the building. Boarding the playground is a dimmed painted, two lane track that runs right into the new addition. I can't imagine how many great memories students have walking the track during their recess and using those one freshly painted lines to start games with friends. The unique aspect of this playground is that it has a natural painted back drop of tall pine trees that cascade the hill which fences one side of the playground. State Road's playground would highly benefit with fresh stencils for their exciting playground children enjoy every day.
See you on my next adventure,

Paul Holman
